Seems the UK is definitely lagging behind the rest of the EU when it comes to Z-Wave. Just come across these companies via an article in the Spanish version of Elektor magazine. http://www.duewi.de/ also another one is www.merten.com they call their version of Z-wave the Radio Connect System. They do a prety nifty looking wall mount remote control unit.

I'm just wondering, has anyone asked these companies why they haven't brought any of their products to UK/Europe?
Of course the other alternative is to find out why we can't use the US frequencies in the UK (presumably it's a licensed frequency), and maybe even campaign to change it. I've only bought a few bits so far, a Vera, and a couple of plug-in modules. Resisted buying the ugly switches so far, but there are even whole product ranges missing from the UK, like integrated power sockets (I hate the plug-in modules). |

The problem is with frequency. In EU is 833Mhz. I'm working on the software to control Z-Wave modules and also wants to develop my own modules. Currently I developed ethernet module to control devices at home via the internet. Next step is build Z-Wave devices.
